R.I.P. Ghédalia Tazartès (1947-2021)

We are very sad to announce that our dear friend Ghédalia Tazartès passed away on Feb 9th, 2021.

It has been such a pleasure working with him since 2014.

Unfortunately he won’t see the two new releases we were working on with him recently.

We will remember his smile, his friendship and his great music.

More on Ghédalia here

Today, Friday, the 23rd of  November 2018, the Moon is full and we are happy to announce the official release of « Felk Moon » by Red.

Felk Moon is :

a vinyl record with 500 unique covers, each drawn by Red

(including two limited editions of 100: Golden Serie and « Sanguine » Serie)

You can choose now your favorite cover(s) on the Facebook page  of Red: Red Felk Moon or on the label’s: Bisou Records.

Some « XMAS SPECIAL » covers are already available !

There is less than 20 copies of the Golden Serie still available.

The « SANGUINES » Serie will be available soon.

Copies will be available on this website next week

Red opens Felk Moon by the loop of the last track of Felk, his first album released in 2000, with the voice of Margot Lambin at 3 and 20 years old. Welcoming the unexpected of familiar sounds and outdoor sounds, this new album was also recorded at home, doors and windows open.

In his tender and intimate world he invites Bertrand Belin (violin, voice and bass) for a warm and vibrant duo, summons the spirit of Gil Scott-Heron through his version of « We Almost Lost Detroit », invites his accomplice Philippe Tessier (tenor saxophone) who brings a free touch to Red’s electronic folk blues on « I’m Weird ».

Each cover is unique, hand drawn by the artist himself.

Pre-order Eugene Chadbourne – Pleasures Of The Horror – LP

Eugene Chadbourne + Steve Beresford + Alex Ward
Pleasures Of The Horror

LP 12” – BIS-005-U / Release date: January 25, 2018
Style: country, pop, folk, jazz

BISOU asked Eugene Chadbourne to do an album for children and he proposed an album about horror movies and monsters. Some references are obvious like ‘The Thing’, ‘Blacky Lagoony’, etc,  and some are about strange characters ‘Vampire Tiger Girl’, and some are covers (Sam and the Shams, Shockabilly).
It’s probably the best recorded album of Eugene Chadbourne. Eugene met Steve Beresford and Alex Ward in London at Eastcote Studios (where Adele, Duran Duran, Aswad, Tindersticks and Depeche Mode recorded !). They used a good part of the instruments available there (grand piano, wood organ, many amps, loads of keyboards).
