Jean-Marc Foussat is famous for his hundreds of recordings of Derek Bailey, Steve Lacy, Massacre, Carlos Zingaro, Joëlle Léandre and many others free improvisers, for labels like Hat Hut, Tzadik, Rectangle. He made a cult record in the 80’s called ‘Abatage’ and started in own label Fou Records on which he releases mainly his own music.
Christian Rollet is the drummer of Le Workshop de Lyon, one of the oldest french free jazz band (50 years of activity in 2017) and founded the ARFI collective in 1977. He also plays in La Marmite Infernale and many other projects.
Quentin Rollet, son of Christian Rollet, plays alto and sopranino sax. He used to run the Rectangle record label from 1995 to 2004 and then started with Isabelle Magnon a new record label called BISOU in 2015. He plays mostly free music and is often invited to play with bands like Nurse With Wound, The Red Krayola, Prohibition, Mendelson, Akosh S. Unit, Thierry Müller/Ilitch, DRAME…
